Greek Chicken Breast with Spaghetti Myzithra

We are featuring a delicious plate, pairing a tender chicken breast with our special spaghetti Myzithra. The chicken is marinated and then grilled and topped with our homemade Greek sauce of lemon, olive oil, garlic and herbs while the pasta is gently tossed with garlic and Greek Myzithra cheese. The flavors melt together and complement each other perfectly! Enjoy a small Greek salad and our garlic bread ahead of time.

Happy Greek Independence Day!

Wednesday, March 25th

Greeks all over the whole world celebrate this historical day. Here in the U.S. parades take place in Chicago, Boston, and New York as Greek Orthodox churches and their parishioners organize wonderful celebrations and take to the streets in honor of their Greek heritage and history. Children dress up as traditional Greek dancers or in ancient war "foustanellas" (the big white skirts shown in the picture). In Washington D.C., it is tradition for the current president to invite heads of the Greek government as well as leaders in the Greek Orthodox church to the White House!
