Monthly Dinner Special

Greek Chicken Breast & Yarithes Scorthates

A new combination special to enjoy for the entire month of March!

This pairing of tender chicken breast with succulent garlic prawns brings forth the great lemon and garlic flavors of the Mediterranean. The chicken is marinated in a wonderful variety of Greek herbs and spices, grilled and then topped with our signature lemon Greek sauce, while the prawns are prepared in a delicious garlic sauce. Your meal begins with our house garlic bread and a small Greek salad for you to enjoy!

Suggested Wine: Makedonikos White

March 25th - Greek Independence Day

                                                  greek flag (Small).jpg

This historic day marks the end of 400 years of Ottoman occupation in Greece. Now, celebrating 190 years of freedom, the Greeks take to the streets in parades, military marches and food festivals, roasting pigs, lamb or goats and feasting with friends and neighbors. But, March 25th is a dual holiday in Greece, both on the political and religious fronts. It is the Feast of Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel came to the Virgin Mary to tell her she was going to carry the son of God, which makes this special day in Greece's history all that much more of a joyous affair to Greeks worldwide!

Welcome Spring!       tulips.jpg

It's safe to say that Spring is always a welcomed season here in the Northwest. With flowers and grass eager and waiting to bud out of the cold earth, nothing beats the beauty of Whatcom County's natural abundance. With high hopes that Spring's arrival won't be delayed, the official first day of Spring is March 20th!
