Monthly Dinner Special

Souvlaki Platter for Two

Share a family style meal for two the Greek way, with our delicious souvlaki skewers.

Your meal will begin with a pita bread and tzatziki appetizer followed by two small Greek salads topped with feta cheese, olives, tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, cucumbers and our house vinaigrette. Souvlaki is cubed meat that has been marinated in olive oil and Greek herbs and served on a skewer. This platter featuers 4 skewers, one each of chicken, lamb, pork and prawns. The skewers are grilled and topped with our signature Greek lemon sauce, placed over homemade rice pilaf and served on a platter to share family style.

Suggested Wine: Retsina White Wine

A Note from Soula:

"Free at last!!! Thank you so much to the many donors who gave graciously to help me raise my bail money in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I am happy to report that I only had to do 1 hour of hard time and very delighted to report that our combined efforts brought in a grand total of $1024! Wow! That was more than enough to send one deserving child to their annual summer camp or to pay for 10 support group sessions. This year the camp was in Lake Stevens and started on August 14th. Total funds raised was over $38,000 and this money will be used to help more than 500 families in our area suffering from neuromuscular disorders. I had a lot of fun and below are some pictures to prove it! Thanks again and we'll have to wait till next year to see if I'll be "turned in" again!"

The ultimate Greek summertime refreshment. Ouzo is a Greek aperitif with a strong black licorice flavor. It is traditionally served with mezedes, Greek appetizers and is meant to be slowly sipped and enjoyed over the entire course of the evening while snacking on Greek cheese, meats, octopus, salad, olives, sardines and other finger foods. It is served both neat (no ice) and over ice. Ouzeries, like an ouzo cafe, can be found all around Greece where people can meet up with friends and family.

Ouzo gets its distinct licorice taste by distilling pure ethyl alcohol with anise and sometimes other flavors like cloves, cinnamon, star anise, fennel and coriander.

Come by to try a refreshing shot served over ice or mixed in one of our signature drinks or martini. The perfect accompaniment to any Greek meal!

Update: Samish Way Block Party

Although the rain didn't take a day off for our 1st annual Samish Way Block Party, we had a blast getting together with our fellow neighborhood business owners and raising funds for our local Brigid Collins House. Check out some pictures from that day:
