Chicken & Ribs

Take advantage of this great summer special, available for the entire month!

Grilled chicken breast and our famous Baby Back Ribs are the main ingredients in this dinner special. Your meal will begin with your choice of a cup of the soup of the day or a salad and our house garlic bread. The main entree is a combination of a grilled chicken breast and tender ribs prepared either with our signature Greek sauce of lemon, olive oil and garlic or our traditional BBQ sauce, and served alongside potatoes or rice pilaf.

Kick off summer with this delicious special - right off the grill!

Celebrating Father's Day

Sunday, June 21st

Father's Day is traditionally celebrated on the 3rd Sunday in June and although most countries, including the United States, Canada and Greece follow this tradition, some do not. Italy, Portugal and Spain already honored their fathers on March 19th while Germany celebrated on May 21st. South Korea celebrates both parents on the same "Parent's Day", May 8th. Australia and New Zealand traditionally honor fathers later in the year on the first Sunday in September while Thailand waits until December 5th for this holiday.

Here is some great Father's Day trivia:

* A Spokane, WA woman, Sonora Dood, is given credit for nationalizing this holiday for fathers.

* According to Greek Mythology, Zeus is the ultimate father of both the gods and the mortals.

*The Roman Emperor Augustus was the first male to hold the title "Father of his County" (Pater Patriae) in 2BC.


Dining with the Seahawks for a Great Cause

On Sunday, May 3rd, the Seattle Seahawks played a charity basketball game against the Squalicum High School's boys basketball team to raise money for both the Seahawks Foundation and Squalicum sports. We were asked to donate food for the Seahawks to enjoy after the game and their very close win in overtime. We were happy and honored to participate. Here are some pictures of that fun evening!

MAY HIGHLIGHTS

May was a great month to start getting out and finally enjoy some sunshine and good food in our sun-filled dining room! We took advantage of Fresh Halibut and enjoyed Dini's homemade Galactobouriko dessert. Here's to a wonderful June and the start of summer! Thank you to everyone who dined with us in May as well as those who joined us in celebration on Mother's Day. We are always happy to celebrate and be a part of those special days.
