Christmas in January

It's that time of year again and we're bringing back the holiday mystery gifts!

When you have dinner with us during the month of December, you will receive a sealed envelope holding a special gift from us to you.

But No Peeking!

The envelope must not be opened until January 2009. It's our way of extending the holiday giving season. When you visit us for dinner in January, bring in the un-opened envelope to reveal your mystery gift. Must be opened in front of your server to be valid.

This is one gift you'll be happy to return!

From all of us at Five Columns, we wish you a wonderful and joyous holiday season!

Traditional Greek Holiday Desserts

Kourambiedes and Melomakarona are a couple of traditional Greek desserts that are sure to be on every Greek's dessert table. Kourambiedes are flakey butter cookies generously covered with powdered sugar. While they may be a little difficult and messy to eat, they are worth it! Melomakarona, sweet honey cookies topped with walnuts, are served on Christmas morning with a cup of strong Greek coffee.

Vasilopita is a cake made in preparation for  New Year's celebration. This cake is special in that it is baked with a coin hidden in the batter. As tradition goes, the head of the household cuts a piece of cake for each member of the family. When the coin is revealed, the person whose piece it is will have good luck for the rest of the year.

Reserve your holiday party now!

Our banquet room can accommodate groups up to 40 people and our staff will work together with you to plan the perfect party.
