Taste of Greece

This month's special is a new combination of great Mediterranean flavors. Your meal starts with our house garlic bread and a fresh Greek salad made with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, green peppers, feta cheese and Greek dressing. The main entree is a tasty arrangement of a tender lamb skewer, 2 hand-made dolmades, 1 spanakopita, rice pilaf and a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping. The dolmades are served with a lemon sauce and the lamb is marinated and topped with our signature Greek sauce.

Thessaloniki is Greece's 2nd largest city, after Athens. It is located in the Northern region of Macedonia (and is also its capital). It has a population of 1 million people including all the suburbs. Thessaloniki is a modern city with a very rich cultural feel with all its museums, archaeological monuments and unique churches. It has a great night life, lots of shopping, wonderful food and very easy access to some of the best beaches in Greece. The peninsula of Halkidiki is just 70 km away and offers some of the most wonderful beaches to visit.

Each year, the city comes alive in September with their annual Anhiolos Wine Festival that runs Sept 1st - 15th and the International Trade Fair which includes the Song & Film Festival.
